The Snow Queen (2020)
The music below is from New International Encounter’s (www.nie-theatre.com) film adaptation of The Snow Queen, which I had the pleasure of composing the music for in the lead up to Christmas 2020.
The recordings are a mix of characterful musical numbers and songs that were filmed as music videos, as well as music that acted as underscore, including themes that reappeared throughout the film, such as ‘Seasons Change’.

I was the Musical Director and Arranger for this production while it ran in the west end, as well as touring from 2016-20.
Here are some examples of the vocal arrangements I put together for the show, sung by the cast of The Comedy About A Bank Robbery.

ÖGONBLICK (2020)
The pieces below were for a dance project in Sweden. Two dancers, Simon Oskarsson and Lotta Sandborgh created the piece titled 'ÖGONBLICK', meaning the blink of an eye or a moment. They asked me to collaborate on a couple of tracks for the piece.
For the first track, ‘Packing’, I collaborated with musician and singer songwriter, Max Runham. The stimulus for this piece was to create a musical journey and conflict of somebody packing their stuff up before a move, and being reminded of different memories, from happy ones to the more melancholy and retrospective.
For the second, ‘Bird Love’, I was given the stimulus to create something inspired by tropical birds courting each other. I perhaps took the blurb a little literally but nevertheless it was fun to create...!

Panic Buy (2020)
The track below is my piano composition for the short film 'Panic Buy', directed by Ben Caplan and part of the Lockdown Lives short film series.
The film is about a same-sex couple trying to make a baby during the first Covid-19 lockdown in England. It is both poignant and funny, exploring the realities of human connection through the medium of Zoom…!
Snow White (2019)
I devised and composed the music for this theatre production by NIE. We originally devised the show back in 2018 at the Cambridge Junction and then revived it a year later for the Tobacco Factory in Bristol. The two tracks below are a little taster of the kind of music that was in the show.
